Artino averaged 12.4 points and 7.9 rebounds this past season for Waukee High School and is playing with the Iowa Barnstormers AAU program this summer.
 
Artino supposedly showed better than Mills from Wisconsin at the Vegas tourney (Mills is listed below on this same recruiting page.) This, according to former Creighton radio show guy Matt Perrault (friend of all Shocker fans:) ) who was down in Vegas covering the tourney for Rivals/Creighton site.

Have you seen him play? I looked at his Rivals page and he is pretty skinny. He would need a year to bulk up at least before he could contribute.
 
Nope...haven't seen him play...my only source was the one given in my post above. Matt Perrault who co-runs the Creighton Rivals site.

I'm in Omaha so I don't get to see a lot of the guys that ISU recruits...
 
Really like how he has progressed. Will be interesting to see how he performs next year with Dougie and Pinky gone.
