I've heard that G JALEN PACKER is equally on the radar of recruiters. It'll be interesting to see if this squad can overcome the demons within to repeat as 3A IHSAA champs. Losing their highly-supportive Supt of Schools (B. Dale McCuiston) to retirement has also hurt. I've known him personally since the mid-60's...he spent the night @ my home during the Seymour Semi-state last Spring...and helped navigate Princeton's 2009 hoop achievment(s).
If you've never gone undefeated and marched to the IHSAA Final Game, you have no idea of the logistics and administrative decisions indigenous to the process. McCuiston interacted with BOTH the kids & parents, often
filling the role of "social worker" to help minimize domestic issues that would otherwise disrupt team chemistry.

By the way...CHATTANOOGA has allegedly already gained Chavis' attention.

Somebody told me Rontray said football may be in his future and not basketball.

I believe Rontray is the one that played QB for the football team. A very raw talent in football but extremely athletic. Really impressed me when I saw him play last year. Not sure if it would work out but could be a great catch for Trent.

I know that princeton athletics is pretty unstable.....I would avoid this kid....I just dont like the idea of the 'tude...

They both got some interest in football. They would just throw fades to each other in the end zone when they would get inside the 20(it was basically unstoppable).

unless the brother changes(they are juniors so there is time) it be a gamble. Whatever team gets them will have to take both prollay

Why will the teams have to take both?

They won't...both R & D are only Jr's, and clearly developing separate hoop identities. It's amazing that a kid can score 48 pts. in today's HS game with NONE from 3 pt range.

By the way, Dontray (the other twin) scored 37 pts in a game last week.

Indy, I'll lightly touch upon their HOME atmosphere. They're actually being raised by a single parent mother.

Academically, Rontray has more on the ball than Dontray. This likely spills over into his attitude and work habits, since his "frustration index" isn't as frequently tested. If these kids had 1/2 the "normal" home atmosphere, you'd never hear any negative comments.

They're IDENTICAL twins, and since Rontray seemingly has the upper trail, Dontray's self-esteem is perpetually challenged.

My life-long friend, who retired as Supt of their school system last Summer, is still very keen on them...sends me E-mails almost daily saying that ISU needs to be recruiting them. Says they'll both likely grow another 2" given the mesomorphic structure of BOTH the mom & dad.
