I'm sure Jason has already checked out his IP address and prob found that mabell is indeed located in Italy and not Springfield, MO...or else he would have shared that with us.

I trust mabell...because he has specifically said, take it all with a grain of salt, he's just reporting what he's heard, not unlike everyone else on this board.

And also, like Jason said, gives us something to talk about.

AND...correct me if I'm wrong mabell, but if this young man does become a Sycamore, fair to say that we'll have gained a new fan in you?

Yeah good points - you know if it was another fan from another forum, let's be serious anyone gets excited over rumors like this - especially when we get videos posted of the kid strait balling. I'm telling you the kid can flat out get it looking at these videos. Soo even if it is a joke, I'm willing to bite and provide entertainment... Jokes on me! lol

At this point you might have gained one nevertheless, even if this turns out to be BS I would feel bad for spreading this rumor (my intentions were good!) and probably start rooting for your team anyway. :)

A recuit was on campus yesterday

When I stopped by HC yesterday to order FB and WBB tickets, they got a call that a recuit was coming over to see HC. Anyone know who that might have been. Just for what it worth and add fuel to the excitement.

or are we talking Sid Finch here? (For those of you younger folk, Sid Finch was the ficticious baseball player that Sports Illustrated did a huge cover story on years ago. Had people really believing that the person existed. And it was all a promotional stunt).

I didn't think the Turkish kid played for a pro team; was thinking the issue was how much $$$/benefits he received for being part of the European/Turkish Club Basketball system...
