Notice also the talk of him & Anderson going to SIU...which seems more likely than ISU-IL.

Killebrew might lead a Southern Indiana Athletic Conference contingent to Southern Illinois University. His older brother, Kendal Brown-Surles, is a senior on SIU's men's basketball team. His cousin, Ke'Andre Vaughn, is a senior running back from Reitz who is also interested in the Salukis.

"I'm keeping my options open," Killebrew said. "Ke'Andre and (Castle's) Mitch Gilles and Jon-Marc Anderson have all talked about the possibility of going to school at Southern Illinois."Killebrew is being recruited by SIU and Murray State as a slotback. Indiana State has offered him a scholarship as a defensive back.

"Kendal likes it (at SIU), but he's not going to make a choice for me," Killebrew said. "He knows it's my decision."

Timed in the 40-yard dash in 4.43 seconds, Killebrew hopes to get even faster.

"He's a great football player, a great kid and a great leader," Lewis said.

If we want him to be a defensive player, I have to wonder how good he would be as a receiver at the FCS level.
