Osborne, whose first scholarship offer was from Southern in December, now expects to choose from Texas Tech, UT-El Paso and Indiana State.

It's between us a Big 12 school and another FCS school? Those seem like long odds. What's our in, I wonder. I would love to get a DT of that size from Texas.

We may not have the best chances of signing him, but I like it that we're daring enough to go after guys drawing attention from the bigger schools, especially if that interest comes late in the process.
Don't believe he signed today. Texas Tech fully expected him to sign with them. Saw some panic posts about it on their fan forums.
We hear anything on this kid yet? He looks like he'd be a HUGE get. Literally and figuratively...

This might already be the best recruiting class we've ever had. Land this kid, or even another solid recruit, and I think it will be hands down the best, at least on paper. Now we have to see how they perform as a team.

Looks like Texas Tech may not have room if another kid signs there that is/was expected.

Yeah, I do, too. A 300 pd DT as a two star prospect at an FCS school might as well be a five star.
