There is nothing on the ISU-M board about this. There is a thread that Turner wants to re-open his recruiting but ISU-M will not release until he talks to new coach. Fans are getting restless with the coaching search with the AD as coaches are starting to pull their names as this drags out.

Saw Dan Fife say the other day that he was REAL interested in the job. (asst at Michigan State). They need to get this done right or this program goes deeper in the toilet.
Fife pulled out of the running yesterday, or very early this morning. Said he no longer wanted to be considered. Someone else that was supposedly on their list just pulled out of search as well, don't recall the name though.

Many of the Ball State alums are saying that basically the last person who doesn't pull his name out of the running wins the job, thats the process their AD is using! Needless to say, they are getting a wee bit frustrated with the whole thing.

I think so. I was told during the Summer that it would be a long shot and getting him on campus would be difficult. Any time you can get a recruit on campus to at least get the pitch, then it is on the coaches to close.
I think a back court tandem of he and Brenton Scott could be very formidable.
