Many of us already know this, but...his dad played two years at ISU and two years at Ball State. Hope his visit goes GREAT.

Hopefully very, very, very, very very, very, very well. Would love to see him in blue. He and Scott could make an All MVC backcourt in a couple of years.

I think he and Scott could be very special together. Both can handle the ball, shoot from the outside and both can get to the rim and flat out score when they want to, not to mention how frustrating they woud be to opponents on defense as well. They could be virtually interchangeable at the point, and both would benefit from going against the other in practice every day.

It would be a fun three years watching them play together.

On almost all teams at least one leaves after every season because they want to or because they need to. Why would we be any different? If I am at the far end of the bench I would most likely be that person. Coaches are paid to win not to coddle & a player not being utilized could probably find a better fit for playing time.

I just wonder about the log jam that we have now, but Bell (with improvement) would get serious minutes after next year. We have 3 guys in front of him. But after their gone he (with improvement) would turn into a potential starter. So I wonder who we would lose? Devonte has settled into a role. And has improved in that role over the last few games. Plus he gets ALOT of praise from Coach. So this really makes me wonder.

It is interesting, but I don't think we're in danger of having too many good guards. And Tre will only be here 2 years. We've usually been able to find a big somewhere when we need one.

I didn't intend to name names but you mentioned one big who has already redshirted and has barely seen the floor. Why would he want to hang around? Also how about our other injured big? How long do you wait for ANY production? Might be time for all parties to move on?

Hold on. Not playing much when you are a freshman does not put your career in the trash. Most bigs we get don't mature until their last 2 years. With Gant, Kitch, Moore and Arop it was pretty tough for a freshman to crack the lineup. Players on a D1 team have to be patient (ask Kitch and Burnett). Kids can't just walk right in and play against men overnight. It took Cummings 4 years to become what he was capable of.

Can we at least wait until the seasons over to debate on who is or is not leaving the program? We sent an asst. out to see a kid. Could mean a lot of different things.. none of us know anything more than that. We'll have plenty of time to talk about this stuff..You guys do know we have a game tonight right?

Because it is a significant development? Our scholarships are gone for 2014 and PJ isn't going to prep school so he won't be a 2015 kid -- I asked around last night. That means if we're still recruiting him, someone isn't having their scholarship renewed or has possibly informed the staff that they plan on leaving or transferring.
