I would say it is a very good chance. Sounds like they are very interested in him, and he sounds very interested in them. All the other schools he names always seem to be a little bit of an after thought, like "oh yea, these other four are interested too!" Many are predicting he will be at Purdue next year.

The real question is whether Painter will be there or not?

PJ Thompson got his offer from Purdue today. Said he will wait until Purdue's season is over before making his official visit and what many anticipate to be his commitment.

Waiting until Purdue's season is over huh? I guess he will make his announcement Thursday evening! :cheeky:

Well, I thought they were full for 2014 so I'd imagine maybe they need to boot someone first?

They just lost one to a heart condition. Were you counting him?

Nope, I missed that. There you go.

That said, I think Painter's poor recruiting is going to do him in. Keep in mind that he is beating out Indiana State for a majority of his recruits, not other Big Ten squads. Ronnie Johnson and now PJ Thompson are two fine examples.

Poor recruiting. Dan Dakich went on about this today on the radio. Said Painter needs to start beating out Big Ten schools for kids, not mid-majors. Mentioned how most of his Indiana kids haven't panned out and said look at who recruited and who passed on them.
