I've got several evals of CJ from this weekend in the Supporting Members thread. To sum things up, he is a very intriguing prospect that reminds me a bit of Jake Odum in the way he does a little bit of everything -- scores, facilitates, plays defense, rebounds, takes charges.

He also received an offer from Ball State today.
 
Is it me, or is Ball State throwing out a ton of offers? Just seems like every other day I am reading about them offering someone. Maybe it just seems that way.

I think we have quite a few more out than they do. They're playing catch up because the previous staff failed pretty hard.

Because he pushes the ball and doesn't have a fluid release and follow through. That's a recipe for getting your shot blocked on the perimeter; a lot. I would also hope that in his highlight video they all go in.

If you saw him live I'll take your word for it. I'm fine if his shot is a little unorthodox provided he shoots a high percentage.

The way it has gone for us recently, he probably "liked us", but didn't "like us like us", and instead of staying close to home we will lose out to Southern Alaska State or Northeast Central Idaho Tech.

I could completely understand losing him to Southern Alaska State, because that program is on its way up, but losing him to Northeast Central Idaho Tech would really hurt. We just can't lose guys to them if we want to be competitive.
