I think he has visited Illinois State but is considering Indiana State. I think it's a long shot but would be huge! Seen him play a lot and he has a ton of upside. He only has until tomorrow to make a decision so we will find out soon.

2017 Forward from KY Trace Young. We are making a late push for him! Would be a huge pickup. Clayton Hughes knows him through camps and AAU. Hopefully he doesn't land at Illinois State if we don't get him.

He is a kid that krwilson turned me onto a little bit ago but the Illinois State boards said they believed he was in the bag to them so I never took it seriously. If he is in play, that would be a VERY nice pickup.

This speaks to his level of athleticism:

I see him everyday...Illinois State is on his list that currently has 3 schools on it. Two big powers have dropped out and I am skeptical about one of the ones he speaks about.

He has ever tool to walk in and average 8-10 points as a freshman.

Trees would be a different kind of athletic should he land in TH.

Yep. Key, Hughes, and Thomas are all plus athletes. Barnes better be talking to JO about throwing those lobs he was famous for. Can you imagine if Odum had better athletes around him that could fly (other than Lathan)?? Highlight reel!!

Richard wasn't a high flyer by any means but he was a good athlete. Cummings was a pretty good leaper for his size and out of the 2 guard position. Odum wasn't surrounded by scrub athletes - maybe not the dunking caliber of these though.

But give Barnes 3 years with these guys and this could get pretty fun.

Yep, talking about leapers. As a whole I wouldn't describe any of those Odum teams as more than a little above average athletically though....Back to Young ...Would be a huge get this late in the game given his athleticism and ability to play multiple positions.

Best case scenario we get Young or Culbertson for the last spot. But if we miss on those two guys who do you think we will land?

We're trying to corner the market on lefties it seems. If they can play like Young seems to be able to, the more the merrier!

Schools were cool on him due to the number of transfers he's made in HS. Each district has different requirements for graduation. He's potentially going to be a steal for anyone.

Why does he need to decide by tomorrow?
