Just seen where UNCG upset #14 Arkansas 78-72 yesterday. Would love to see ISU make an effort to get SOCON schools on the schedule. That conference is quite good most years and very comparable with the MVC.

Houston looking really good right now against Dayton. Long, athletic, can shoot and are tough. Play good defense.

They will be a tough out in March assuming no injuries.

Are they ever going to call 3 seconds. Guys are just standing in the lane
Still surprised Purdue wants to run everything through Edey like the last few seasons. Would have thought they would add a new wrinkle. In the first half he never passed the ball back out and forced several shots.

did they run "everything thru edey?'
Not as much in the second half. Also helps when they shoot better from the outside and finally knock down some 3s

If they play again in the NCAA tournament my money is on Gonzaga. Few will have them improving as much as any team.

I wouldn’t have an issue with Purdue throwing it into Edey every possession if it ever came back out. In the first half he shot it every time despite having guys open on the outside at times. Other times they threw it in and all four guys for Purdue just stood and watched. Then add in the fact that he was around 3-10 at one point and Purdue was down almost all of the first half.

In Regards to Gray. Does transferring from a D2 to D1 even count as a "transfer"?

He went from Southern New Hampshire to Niagara to Indiana State.

I remember when FBS kids would transfer to FCS schools to play football for a year a then go back up to FBS the next season so they wouldn't have to sit out a season. I know Cam Newton did that and Illinois State had benefitted with pretty good players doing that. Wouldn't going from D2 to D1 essentially be the same thing? Thus making Grays transfer to Indiana State his "one time free transfer". But Brodie gets a 6th year or eligibility because of a "retroactive" redshirt season from 4 seasons ago when he was with Seton Hall...SMH

It definitely shouldn't. It's ridiculous.

In the past, Pre-COVID, Pre-NIL, pre No Rules Era (i.e. today) it always counted when the player transferred UP divisions (Div III to Div II or Div I, Div II to Div I, FCS to FBS) UNLESS it was from a JC or CC as Cam Newton did... Blinn College in Texas is NOT a FCS school but a Junior College.

It's become ridiculous -- the old rule was (basically) 6 calendar years to complete 4 years of college eligibility. The kid at Howard now in his 7th year of intercollegiate play over 8 calendar years... any kid who's petitioning for anything beyond a 6th calendar year... bag it, catch on with a USA based minor league or take your game overseas.

What's next? A CBA for NCAA MBB, a CBA for NCAA FBS Football and one for NCAA FCS football that all say; in the 9th calendar year, "kids" actually "age off" college rosters and have to start life, ala the current NFL CBA wrt the practice squads???

Toledo’s big shooter just keeps getting left open. Still don’t understand the help concept in todays game.
