Now that the 2024 class is full, staff can start really focusing on the 2025 class.

I'd think PG is of the utmost importance.

.that’s a lot of eligibility to be given out. Definitely need another point guard in there.

Onto 2025 recruiting. How would you spend the 3 remaining scholarships?

Only thing I'm sure of is trying to get one legit big.

We're going to have way more than three scholarships to fill after half of the team hits the portal next offseason. Welcome to the new age of college basketball.

Yeah, I can see that. I think Land looks like he could be a MVC 4 so with the big and based on taking two more very young PG types, I think that makes sense going after two shooters.
Do we know if this new guy is a PG?
Probably have better luck getting another C on the portal.

Coach seems to be here for a while. Doubt the defections will be as great when he stays. But who knows?

Roster is guard heavy looking at this.

I'd probably shoot for two bigs. I know the staff has been looking at Euro 5s, so I'd be shocked if one of these two aren't one of those.

i'm hoping Vorst and Daughtry can get it done but I would feel better if we had backup for size, defense and rebounding inside. I think our guards and small forwards look really, really good if we can keep them.

For the 25/26 season, if they stay you would think they would be starters. You really can’t give much thought into it until you see what the roster looks like then.

Funny, but I thought the one with goggles even moved some like Avila. Not sure about him as a defensive center, but we'll have to take what we can get.
Land is a good defensive PF, but I wasn't counting him since he would be a FR and he needs to fill out some.

You don't have to necessarily have to worry about him being a defensive center as he would play in drop coverage, same way we used Robbie.

Defense isn't the primary trait they're looking for in a center. In fact, it may be 5th at best if you're putting together a top 5. Doesn't crack mine.

High BB IQ - Need to be able to see the floor and anticipate what's going to happen.
Playmaking - Need to be able to execute off what you're seeing.
Shooting - Need to be able to shoot from deep to drive spacing for system.
Scoring - Need to be able to get a bucket on your own when shit breaks down.
Consistency - Need to be able to do all of those things consistently.

Then I'd put defense into the picture but I'd still probably put it behind intangibles.

The goal for the Hub 5 is to essentially produce plus points versus what you'd give up defensively. If you can account for 30+ points in a game between your own production and what happens off your playmaking, it is very unlikely you're a liability unless Wilt is out there on the other side.
