Samari Curtis, the 6'4" G transfer from Nebraska, is igniting that former Ohio Mr. Basketball flame. Once he gets in shape (yes, he was on the Jake Odum diet last Summer), UE will be competitive in the MVC. He sure as hell burn't a hole in the Salukis tonight. 30 pts. on 6/8 3's...and mixed a few MJ-style dunks for added flavor in hi 29 min of PT.
I've keyed on him today and did SIU leave him wide open? He has a really low release so if you guard him, he shouldn't really get clean open looks. Almost like a mid chest put looking shot.

Man, I wonder what happened to Pickford? He went from looking like he'd be a big time Valley guy to looking like he is out of place.

Domask held in check...again. Look @ his overall game contribuutions. Zilch. Mullins showing his inexperience as a HC.

Was just checking the scores and UNI got absolutely boatraced by Loyola today, 88-46. That team is just not very good without AJ Green.

Noticed they are starting true freshman PG Bowen Born, a kid we offered.

Averaging 13 ppg and 92% on FT's. Not bad for 5" 10" and 160 lb.

Blake Sisley from Heritage Hills will be heading to UE next year. He is a four year starting center that averages 22.7 points and can shoot outside. He is 6'8", 210 lbs.

Barr Reeve (a 1A school located on Hwy 50 between Washington & Loogootee) hammered 'em last weekend! Of course, Barr-Reeve has a 6'7" F who is headed to Bellarmine's new Div I program next yr. after sitting out his Jr. season because of IHSAA transfer rules. Btw, this is a classic example of WHY class basketball is a joke in Indiana.
