I'll be flying in Thursday night and out on Saturday afternoon provided the FAA doesn't declare my flight as unnecessary.

Who all is planning on going to the Duke game? I'm hearing that there is a tentative get together at the team hotel but not much outside of that.

I’ll be cutting it close on the one non stop out of Indy that day that lands at 4:30pm at RDU. Up for any postgame party. Staying near the airport and flying out on the Indy non stop Saturday 11am-ish.

My son who interned in the Duke Athletic Office recommends Tobacco road Sports Cafe for sport atmosphere before or after and the Q Shack for BBQ.

Sounds like you guys are going to spend a lot of money. Are you hoping for a moment in history equal to the Red Sea parting, the walls of Jericho falling? The David vs Goliath analogy is overused.

Not really. The non-stop from Indy and back was only like $300 round trip. Upgraded to first class for $40 bucks or 4000 Delta miles each way. GA ticket to sit with the Cameron Crazies was only $70. Tickets on stubhub are around $100 for a reserved seat. Hotels are $100-200. I used points so free for me.

Not a lot of money at all to go to one of the most storied sports venues in America and watch my alma mater.
