The Odum Level
So given that attendance was up earlier in the year what are the chances more people actually go inside and watch the game this season? Will the enthusiasm still be there after this string of blowout losses? I hope it is, but won't be surprised if it's not.

I'm gonna guess no and no to answer your questions.

How about this for a goal for this weeks' game though:

Make the opposing team's starters play the ENTIRE game! If ISU can force opposing team's starters to play 4 quarters instead of 2 or less then THAT will be progress.

I'm half tempted to buy the video for this weekend's game to see how bad ISU really is.

statistics

looking at MVFC statistics, ISU might (and I emphasize might) be able to actually score points this weekend as this weekend's opponent gives up an average of 35 points per game (ISU is at 47+ points per game).

they're also last in the conf. in turnovers lost, so there is potential to gain some turnovers. They also rank dead last in "sacks allowed" in all of I-AA with 30 sacks allowed, so if the ISU defense can ever get past an offensive line, this is the week to do it.

they are #1 in passing offense, so ISU's defensive backs will be tested. The opponent is last in the conference in average rushing yards per game, even worse than ISU, (and we all know how bad ISU's defense is against the rush, so maybe a break this week??).
The opponent is also 2nd to last in passing defense, so maybe ISU can complete some passes this weekend.

it would be nice to see an opponent score less than 50 points before halftime for a change. I'm not getting my hopes up for that, or any other miracles this weekend.

live video??

hey, is there no "live video" of the homecoming game on Saturday now?? the video link on the schedule has been taken off.

Why would there not be "live video" for homecoming of all games??

I was curious too, so called and found out all of the ISU video equipment for doing live webcasts of sporting events was STOLEN! Ugh! when it's bad things just don't go right for ISU.
