You are missing something. The "New" Assistant Coach has been recruiting for IU in general and for this player in particular all summer in AAU circles "prior to" being employed at IU............uh uh uh. Coaches already on the staff could not do what he has been doing in the off-season.

Oh... yeah didn't get that from the article I guess.

I still think this goes on far more in college basketball than we think. I doubt IU is the only one to ever do this. Isn't this the same thing that some colleges do when they hire the HS coach or the Players father as a new assistant.
