ISU at NCAA Track Meet

[ISUCC]

four ISU athletes start competition in the NCAA track meet in Des Moines on Wednesday. All 4 have a realistic shot to be all americans. Erica Moore, Kylie Hutson, Steve Daniel and Lauren Martin will all be there for ISU. 20 MVC athletes qualified for the meet, so the MVC will be well represented

Erica Moore is the 1st to compete on Wednesday, she runs in round 1 of the 400 meter hurdles at 6:00pm (CST), Kylie Hutson starts the pole vault at 7:30pm Wednesday (CST), Steve Daniel begins the men's triple jump at 4:15pm on Friday (CST), and Lauren Martin begins the women's triple jump at 7:00pm on Friday (CST).

the meet is on CSTV live on Friday night (7-10pm cst) and then live on CBS Saturday afternoon (3-5pm cst).

Erica Moore did not make it past the 1st round in the 400 meter hurdles, she was 19th in 59.55, well off her PR of 57.03

Kylie Hutson is competing in the pole vault trials tonight too.

Kylie Hutson made it to the finals of the women's pole vault. Finals are on Friday night.

ISU triple jumper Steve Daniel did not advance to the triple jump finals today, finishing in 21st place with a jump of 50 feet, well below his school record jump from 2 weeks ago.

Kylie Hutson competes in the women's pole vault final tonight, it starts in about 30 minutes.

Kylie Hutson was an agonzing 9th in the women's pole vault tonight, only 8 score, the wind has really wreaked havoc on all the athletes at the meet today in Des Moines.

Lauren Martin finished 23rd in the women's triple jump prelims, not advancing to the finals tomorrow.

One good thing, all 3 women who were at the meet are only sophomores, so this bodes well for ISU. Steve Daniel is a senior for the men.
