The Sycamores will visit nationally ranked #2 Ole Miss for 3 games starting Friday Feb. 29th.

The Radio affiliate for Ole Miss Baseball is WTNM Radio, SuperTalkMS. You can visit the Supertalkms.com website and listen to the radio live. I have not found confirmation that this feed will carry the baseball game, but it appears as though they will. It's worth a try.

Home run in 11th does in Sycamores

Matt Smith's home run with one out in the bottom of the 11th inning gave No. 2-ranked Mississippi a hard earned 6-5 victory over Indiana State. Reliever Brendon Smith was the losing pitcher.

Shortstop Pascual del Real, left fielder Brady Shoemaker and designated hitter Brian Oliver each had two hits for the Sycamores. Oliver and third baseman Brian Ramierez homered for ISU and Shoemaker had a double. Shoemaker and Oliver were removed for pinch-runners in the 7th inning.

man, that just sucks big time! That's 2 games this season ISU has lost late in the game, one at USF and now this one today against the #2 team in the nation. Sooner or later fate will turn and ISU will win these type games.

Need to beat IU Weds. this week though!
