ISU men's track recruit wins state HS title

ISU recruit Brandon Pounds from Lawrence North won the shot put at the boys state meet today and placed 4th in the discus.

Distance recruits Craig Padgett and Jeremiah Vaughn were 3rd and 6th in the 1600, then in the 3200 Vaughn was 12th and Padgett was 13th.

all 3 of these tracksters should make immediate impacts for ISU next season.

I'm sure there will be other recruits added too at some point.

yesterday up in Michigan, throwing over 60 feet once again.

Tra Wilson to ISU too

browsing thru the list of recruits on the Indy Star site I see Tra Wilson (Brandon Pounds teammate at LN) has also now signed with ISU. Tra was 2nd in the 100 and 200 meters at the state meet in IN a couple weeks ago. Another kid who will make an immediate impact for ISU.
