ISU vs UNI weekend series

ISU opens it's home season today against UNI, 1st game is at 2pm today, according to the UNI site, of course the ISU site has no info on this:

ISU has won the past 5 series vs. UNI, need to sweep this weekend to stay in the MVC chase.

UNI seems to have a decent record. Don't know any more about them. Hopefully, Coach Meggs can solve the "Jekyll and Hyde" pitching staff and get three solid wins. A nice 20 game win streak would be good right about now...ray:

ISU blows a chance to blow the game wide open in the 5th, bases loaded with 1 out and UNI gets out of it.

ISU did score one run prior to the bases being loaded.

3-0 ISU leads in the 6th now.

Manus with 11 strikeouts for ISU, UNI with only 1 hit so far in this one.
