WANTED: Passionate Sycamore Fanatics. That You?

What a disappointment. Did not expect us to win but we are regressing back to FAU game. Did not look prepared in any way. At least we only get Drake on Saturday. Need to find some answers fast.

Anyone catch the post game radio comments from Graves?
Said team walked into a buzz saw. Embarrassing game. Took ownership of the game. Responsible as head coach, etc. Said tough home game against Drake to prepare for. Will watch Bradley tape with team. Learn and move on.

Appreciate he still did the interview. He's saying the right things.

Gonna give coach grace this year. Hope enough give to NIL fund for next year.

Same shit different day. He needs to do better getting guys to understand defensive rotations and switching, blah blah blah. Needs to play guys who are willing to give all out effort....but I will give him credit, he came out and spoke about that absolute embarrassment, unlike Woodson last night. I feel like we've lost this team....I hate to say it, but sure feels this way.

Made a point that bench players had an opportunity tonight and no one seized the opportunity. Embarrassed and have to focus on ourselves. Noted poor defensive. Took the ownership of getting guys ready/delivering message for gameplan and have to be better. Got to figure out the rotation.

The rotation thing is maddening the only players he can count on night in night out is Teel and Daughtry. Also there has to be some things going on behind the scenes with work ethic or chemistry issues that have popped up these last two games. You can’t see as much progress as we have seen this year and then watch it all dissolve over two or three games for no reason.

Like others, I watched the entire game. It was like watching a train wreck - I couldn’t look away even though it was gory and sickening. I haven’t thought about what the low point is for my Sycamore fandom (that would be a dark walk down memory lane), but recency bias is taking over that argument at the moment.

I watched a team that absolutely gave zero fucks. And that is new. Effort and hustle haven’t been an issue all season, but tonight was a severe exception. We just laid down and took our lashings. “Please sir, may I have another!”

Because the game was out of hand early, I spent the game watching individual players and their effort and body language. I’m not going to call out any specific player to the negative because just about everyone gave up and it looked like we were hoping they just moved it to a running clock, but I will give Teel some credit to the positive. Even down 40+ he was attacking, playing hard, and huddling up the guys during dead ball moments to try and lead. Whether effective or not, he was at least giving the effort.

PEORIA, Ill. – Indiana State men's basketball fell to Bradley, 118-65, on Wednesday night in Carver Arena. Indiana State fell to 9-9, 3-4 MVC while Bradley improved to 15-3, 6-1 MVC.

I agree with this… He had a really hard but totally clean foul on them on a fast break could have easily just gave up a layup or challenged and got an and 1 but he made sure the guy didn’t get a shot up when the game was out of hand.

He also clearly got bodied at half court appeared to look at the official who didn’t call anything so Teel was like fuck it and he just lowered his shoulder and put it into the guys chest - clearly an offensive foul. At the time it was like well that was dumb - but I quickly decided at least someone is pissed and showing some frustration and emotion.

My wife is not much of a ball knower but she commented on the bad passing and how the team looked disconnected early on.

I made a lame (Disney’s frozen) joke about how we were spoiled last year because that team finished each other’s sandwiches.

She replied, “yeah, this team looks like they don’t even eat lunch together.”

Touché. I died laughing. March on

We really went out of our way to get a Larry Bird reference at half time and the announcers didn't bite.

I knew we were going to lose last night when I saw the starting lineup. Just had no idea it would be a record-setting loss for the ages 😡

Oh boy, it was the day before game day vs the MVC leader, on the road, and I had to wonder...

Will this be a blow out? Why yes, yes it was.
Who will be the one being blown out? Bwahahahahahahahah!
Will it be a close game? Bwahahahahahahahah!
Will it be OT close? Bwahahahahahahahah!
Can we, for the love of Larry Bird, win this game and stay in the contenders conversation? Bwahahahahahahahah!
Has Graves seen the light and will start Vorst? Negative.
Can Teel get that Free Throw mojo back? 7-8.
Can Bruno stop giving us reasons to criticize his play? Next question.
Will anyone not named Teel, Daughtry, or Wagner ever score 20+ points for us (vs a D1 opponent)? Not this game.
When left wide-open, will Harding continue to pass up 3pt attempts? Our first possession of the game was a thing of beauty.
Summers is still shooting 40% from 3pt, should we try to get him more attempts per game? 0-2.
We avg 10.4 three-pointers made per game, Bradley avg is 10.3...who will win this stat for this game? We had nine, they had nine plus seven.
Is Richard Pryor the most famous person from Peoria? Yes.
