Any chance we could end our losing streak tonight? No.
Is Illinois State a bottom-tier team like we're proving ourselves to be? Probably not.
Or are they a top-tier team as their fans fancy themselves to be? Probably not.
How much love do you show the Redbirds for beating SLU in the non-con? I'm not that petty. Or am I?
They shoot 39.8% from Three, does that mean we're screwed? Yes.
Which of our guys will have the most turnovers in tonight's game? Teel with 5.
Will we have two guys tied for the turnover lead in tonight's game? No.

At least we did a few things right, unlike the last two games. Outlook not quite as gloomy to maybe win a game in AM, if we can find any consistency, but still pretty murky.

Outside of Bradley and Drake, 4 of our conference losses were still winnable games in my opinion, but in a way that's almost worse. If we get blown out by 30 every game, we'd know we suck and accept this year for what it is. Being so close to wins but losing because of sloppy play halfway through the season is just frustrating to watch.

I feel like I'm usually pretty optimistic, but y'all crazy! After the FAU game, I thought we were a single-digit win team for this season. Then we improved. I'm now getting real close to being back to thinking we won't win another game and we'll achieve that single-digit win season.

In all seriousness, who else will we defeat? Missouri State when we play them at home, maybe. Evansville or Valpo when we play them at home, maybe. All three of these games are maybes unless we find that mid-December mojo again. I hope I'm way off and we're just in a temporary funk.

My perspective:

Best case: Go 10-1, lose at Arch on Saturday to Drake/Bradley

Worst case: Go 0-11 (many close losses), lose at Arch on Thursday.

So much could happen.
