When will Ian Scott have a dominating “take control” type of game in MVC play? Still hoping this will happen.

The kid for what he is - literally giving us all he's got. Said it at the beginning of the season and maintain, when Scott is the guy that we are depending on offensively to "take over" or be our dog - we are in big trouble. Again, down the stretch last night he made some key mistakes (not missing free-throws this time) dibbled the ball off his leg and threw and errant pass to Camp - of course, Camp likely got fouled on the play and they ruled it incidental contact but none the less the pass was thrown when Camp was quite literally laying on the ground.

1:31 left dribbled off his leg.

48 left heavily contested missed layup.

14 left turnover on bad pass to Camp although Camp was fouled.

That's the "take control" guy in the last 1:30 of the game last night. WOOF! If this is what him taking control looks like I think I've seen what I need to see. Ian Scott has been a nice player for us and has been giving us all he has and then some - but when you are asking for players like Scott to be your go-to guy you have major problems in roster construction and talent identification.

Our best shooter got a look and he missed it... Where was JVB in the second half? 0 for 3. Where was Hall? 0-4...

Yes it is, but why? It has no meaning. I think it was made up by illiterate media.
You are not completely right and you are not completely wrong. There are 2 types of turnovers. Live ball turnovers that result in basket by opponent (Usually leads to a transition) and a dead ball turnover which is just a empty possession.

I saw at least 2-3 curls off screens where both JVB and Hall just stared at him versus getting him the ball. Can't have that.
I hate that my mind even goes here but how can it not with the state of college athletics. Do you think there could be some underlying issues with team chemistry and the whole Camp agency thing?

I mean you’d be a fool to think that it isn’t happening at the college level. Why couldn’t it make its way into our locker room? It has to be so freaking tough for a coach to “manage” the players when it comes to NIL (current and future earnings).

That's what I said. But the stat includes all of them. You can get easy baskets from missed shots too.
They have a stat for fast break points.

100%. Stepping on the sideline and throwing the ball away at midcourt are completely different.
