The non-freshman signees report:

Two DB's (Bullet Pryor & Jalen Sessions) from same Cisco CC defensive backfield. They will have the advantage of having played together and communicating with each other.
1 additional DB
2 Offensive LInemen
2 Wide Receivers
1 Running Back

Notably absent in the early signing period are Defensive Linemen. Sycamores definitely need more depth and speed along the front and this may be a need filled by February signings. Several games this season got out of control after about the midway point of the 3rd quarter when it felt like the defensive line and linebackers just got worn down. Also, our DB's were called upon to make way too many tackles.

Marcus Harris: Junior WR; 6'3", 185 lbs from Radcliffe, Ky. One year at Kent State/transfer from East Mississippi CC; Sports Mgmt Major
Keenan HIcks; Soph CB; 6'0", 175 lbs; Decatur Central HS + 1 Yr at Ind. Wesleyan; Psychology Major - probably a good thing for a DB on an island

From HS, Class 6A First Team All State; 3-Star prospect and top 10 Illinois prospect coming out of HS. No major mentioned.

Jordan Tate: Junior WR; 6'4" & 200 lbs; Hazelwood Central HS/St. Louis & Fullerton College; Business Major

I hope the transfers he signs can make a positive impact. You can't have too many skilled linemen. Hopefully he can get a few of them. I would like to see us somehow get to a .500 season next year. If not, the no football people may get their wish.

Signed five wide receivers. There will be plenty of opportunities to see the field and to show the ability to create separation.
Definitely needed some. Outside of Van Dyne and Caton who I believe both graduated (or are graduating in the Spring), I didn't really notice any of our wide outs making too much of an impact.

Looking forward to seeing the guy from Rutgers. Course if our line cannot give whoever is playing QB, then we need to create plays to get it out of his hands quicker. Remember, we have good Running Backs.
