Btw @Jason Svoboda final score 75-73.
Camp hit corner 3 to tie at 73-73. Then game on the line they hit us with a ball screen and we switched it with Harding on the PG. He just drove past Harding and got the bucket bc Harding was out of position. (That’s why we shouldn’t switch 1-5 if Harding is in.)

Yep, watched it all at the bar. Euphoric to dejected in 8 seconds.

The absolute BS 3 FG the refs counted aside, this game was lost due to MIA coaching in that last 5 minutes of the first half. Harding hit a FT to make it 26-21 Sycamores with 4:52 to play. Missed our next six shots and added a couple turnovers where a couple of the guys were so out of control that Stevie Wonder would have known to pull 'em.

Madlibs: Not calling a timeout somewhere along the way to stop that 16-1 run was [Expletive + Adjective] ___________________________.

A couple takeaways:

Camp has got to stop getting killed ball watching and getting back doored. He’s gotten better on D but he’s still a liability on that side of the floor. It absolutely can’t happen - he just gets back doored to death.

I do think they deserve some credit for getting back to what was working early in the first half in second half - they were able to get back into the game and sustain that level for most of the half. On the game winner they got the matchup they wanted and kid made a heck of an individual play to win the game - sometimes the team on the other side deserves credit too.

Biggest disappointment of the night was undoubtedly the play of JVB - the other night vs Ball State in the second half he looked like the best player on the floor. Last night, one of the worst. You can’t be that inconsistent at this level.

Happy Thanksgiving to all!

Face it they played well but so did L T, great PG play for state, live and learn, we appear to be improving, need to work on that D!

It was the day before game day vs that team we already played and I had to wonder...

Is it deja vu all over again? Not exactly.
Now that we've already played them, can we exploit their weaknesses for a double-digit win? Ha ha.
Now that they've already played us, can they exploit our weaknesses for a double-digit loss? Not exactly.
If we do win by double-digits on the road, how many spots will we jump up in KenPom? Ha ha.
Who will start, Xavier or Jo? Xavier.
Could they both start? Negative.
How many minutes will Xavier and Jo share on the floor together? Very few.
If Xavier and Jo remain healthy, will Zyair ever see the floor again? Doesn’t look good for Z.
Has LA Tech been practicing their free throws? Yes.
Have we been practicing our three-point shooting? 29% for the game.
Who will be our leading scorer in this one? Xavier.
Where will our guys eat Thanksgiving dinner? Broadcasters said the hotel.
Or did I already ask that question? No.

Well the announcers last night said Graves was supposed to be back in December. Let’s hope that is the first part and not the latter. Slussinger is just taking up the best spectator seat in the house every game .
