Project Rudy is built on two somewhat simple concepts to increase revenue from television networks and corporate sponsors.

(1) Arrange more games between power conference programs by eliminating all games against Group of Five and FCS opponents; expanding the playoffs; and pitting blue-blood powers more often against one another.

(2) Consolidate the media rights of the 70 schools under one agreement, instead of the current structure of five different packages (one for each power league and Notre Dame).

What a joke; it's named correctly, Rudy and this plan are farcical but I quit reading when I got to this section:
Just a wee bit of a different between receiving $130M and $30M or even the Yr 12 plan of $250M to $60M...

And about about the part of relegation... but MAYBE let these "special 8" be permanent so that their feelings are hurt... a fucking joke.

I have just received additional reasons to NOT watch college sports, esp. anything put forth by the "power 5"

I have a hard time believing the SEC and B1G would go for this. They can just make a scheduling agreement with each other and keep the money for themselves, since they basically have all of the relevant programs anyways. I'm sure FOX, NBC, and Disney (or someone else) would pay a little bit more for guaranteed annual matchups between the B1G powerhouses and SEC powerhouses.
