Anyone with any knowledge of the recruits that were on campus this weekend (I think...), please let us know. Hope there are some really, really big guys coming...

I still can't believe that it's January and I'm excited about football. Gee, that's weird...

Feb 4th, Signing Day! Hopefully, the put on a presentation of the new class like they did last year at Beef O'Bradys.

i'm hearing that there will be something going on for signing day like last year. but it may not be at beef o'brady's. isu has a home basketball game that night. from what i understand, they are working on putting some special together for signing day though.

I think a mix of horses and a few skill position guys this weekend. A couple of commits from Illinois last weekend. Looks like it should be a pretty solid class. Hopefully a handful can come in an contribute right away.

interest is high in indiana state

from what i've been able to gather, indiana state coaches have encountered an interesting problem -- if you want to call ti that -- during the recruiting process this year. there are more kids interested in coming to isu than the coaches have scholarships available. when you consider the program's record the last couple of years, i think that says a lot for the work done by trent miles and his coaching staff. hopefully, from the program's standpoint, they can convince some of those kids who don't get a scholarship to come on in as invited walkons anyway with the idea of earning a scholarship down the road.

I'm sure they'll have a decent number of invited walk ons--there is still opportunity to play. Last years' class had a ton of walk ons; Roberts, Craig, Bettag.... It seems like they are getting to the point where partial offers will be attractive to some incoming Freshmen. This is the norm for most of the teams in the conference.
