Kind of interesting how they have 46,000 students according to a Google search, but only a little more than 2,400 of them actually took part in the vote.

It's really not surprising. When we did the Sycamore Sam vote, not many voted and most people thought it was a joke so "threw off" if you will which led to Sam. Moreover, very few students are actually active outside of class on a college campus and those are usually who participate in student organizations, fraternities/sororities, etc. I think we were like 12k when I was at State and I bet there were only probably 1000-1200 active students.

I always thought asking the current students to vote on behalf of a hundred years of graduates and all future students was a little stupid. also asking college students anything seems a little stupid. they are slightly more intuitive than my 13 year old instagram addict daughter.
