Softball hosts a 3 team fall exhibition tourney this Saturday at Price Field. Not sure why the NCAA allows softball to play outside competition in the fall but doesn't allow baseball to do the same? Anyway, I know softball uses these fall home tourneys as fund-raisers to help with some of their travel and equipment costs during the acutal season in the spring - so they typically charge an admission. This Saturday, the Sycamores take on Ball State at 12pm and Parkland College at 4pm. At 2pm, Ball State and Parkland will square off. Looks like they are also welcoming back Alumni on Saturday and having a picnic after the contests.
