that's three days rest right???? or is there some rule why he can't go then??? ok sorry if I am baseball stupid lol
In my humble opinion, it is not wise of MLB to go opposite college football for on audience. I know others may differ, but I know what I'll be watching--and it won't be baseball.
maybe so; after all on Sat night, they'll be one MLB game to watch and ~15 college games...
On friday; the LVille Deadbirds and Cincy Cats will be the tv distraction opposite the rangers and yanks

I know you are right. I'm just a contrary old geezer that's not completely over the strike yet. And at this point in my life, I doubt that I ever will be. Most people here don't remember the strike. I'm just a little :krazy: about it.
So your holding a grudge against a bunch of guys that were not any part of the strike? Lol.
It could be worse. You could be like me.....a Pirate fan! :-(
Welll I think I have found a solution to help you like the MLB again... Become a Cardinals fan!!!
YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! the Pirates stadium (name escapes me at the moment) Me and my pops went there for his birthday...really enjoyed the fans, food and really to be honest the first nice stadium people EVER!!!!!!!

I hear ya -- Strike or not, I'm a bigger fan of minor league ball than the majors; though it does seem like there are fewer jerks in MLB now than before the strike (fewer steroids??)
MLB claims they learned their lesson in '94...hope so, maybe the NFL will remember and get their 'labor' issues solved
Never been a fan of Bud S. -- not going to become one
Baseball needs to go outside; at LEAST no owner! Is it time for a former player?
