No that is defiantly 3 days rest. I'd start him then. Only advantages of letting him start Game 3 is he will be on full strength and then he is pitching @ Yankee Stadium. Pitching a big game at Yankee Stadium isn't going to bother Cliff Lee but it might get to Colby Lewis.

When CC was with the Brew Crew he pitched on three days rest every start for the last few weeks of the regular season and in the playoffs that year.

In my humble opinion, it is not wise of MLB to go opposite college football for on audience. I know others may differ, but I know what I'll be watching--and it won't be baseball.

I know you are right. I'm just a contrary old geezer that's not completely over the strike yet. And at this point in my life, I doubt that I ever will be. Most people here don't remember the strike. I'm just a little :krazy: about it.

So your holding a grudge against a bunch of guys that were not any part of the strike? Lol.

Pretty much sums it up. Crazy isn't it? I have made progress this season though. I actually watched several games on TV--mainly Reds and Cubs. Hard to believe I have become a Reds fan. During the years of the Big Red Machine I was strictly a Dodger fan.

PNC Park and yeah everything you said about the ballpark. Lol. The views are awesome there.

Never been to PNC park (but I bank there) but went to Forbes Field and Three Rivers in the old days. Saw Roberto Clemente multiple times and feel blessed to have done that. I am really not a serious baseball fan so you don't have to feel too sorry for me~

I hear ya -- Strike or not, I'm a bigger fan of minor league ball than the majors; though it does seem like there are fewer jerks in MLB now than before the strike (fewer steroids??)

MLB claims they learned their lesson in '94...hope so, maybe the NFL will remember and get their 'labor' issues solved

Never been a fan of Bud S. -- not going to become one

Baseball needs to go outside; at LEAST no owner! Is it time for a former player?

I don't know why not! The NFL must get it's act together or suffer the backlash; I hope they realize that.
