Eighteen months after Eddie White and Indianapolis Star columnist Bob Kravitz launched their show on WFNI-AM (1070), John “JMV” Michael of WNDE-AM (1260) still wears the afternoon sports-talk crown.

According to Arbitron numbers published today, Michael attracted 4,700 listeners per average 15-minute segment during the months of May, June and July. White and Kravitz had 3,700 listeners per average 15-minute segment.

White and Kravitz can claim more listeners per week — 31,300 to 25,600 — but Michael’s audience members spent a daily average of 3 hours, 45 minutes listening to him compared to 2 hours, 15 minutes logged by White and Kravitz loyalists.

Arbitron rankings, compiled through the written diaries of listeners, are summarized in three-month blocks.

“It’s becoming more of a split decision,” WFNI program manager Kent Sterling said. “Kravitz and Eddie have won a lot of individual months.”

“The Drive with JMV” airs 3-7 p.m. weekdays and “Kravitz & Eddie” airs 3-6 p.m. weekdays.

Of course it depends on which stats you look. But it should be clear to anyone that JMV has the superior show.

Who are the

iu and nd alumni?

white and krapitz? if krapitz is -- well, that explains a lot!

Thanks...

That explains SO MUCH about krapitz; a complete hack, may be a good thing that Ernie Pyle is no longer with us; what he must think of krapitz
