Rumor is........... The football team may be getting new helmets. Coach Miles is tossing the idea around of white helmets and white face masks. Potentially we may go back to the state with the "S" wrapped around it, a la my picture to the left, white instead of powder blue. The other option may be to not have a logo, but have numbers.

Put it like this............ We need to move as far away from the last era that we can.

I wish we would go back to that logo full time. It's my favorite, and the favorite of most fans I think. I would love to see it on everything. I'm a big fan of the change, we have the ugliest football uni's in the game!

I don't know......... I kind of like the idea of just the numbers. I do think that the white helmet is the way to go. I would like to see the white helmet with the current logos (State of Indiana with "Sycamores" written across it)

Good Idea.

Northern Iowa used to rock the numbers on the helmet. I think it would be cool.

Any idea if they will get new uniforms? The helmets are not even as close to being as bad as the uniforms. The helmet could be inproved, but the style and colors of uniform are absolutely terrible.

My sources tell me that Coach Miles, REALLY REALLY REALLY wants to change uniforms. Look for this to happen.

I'd like to see us go with a blue version of the Ohio State uniform. Just change the red for blue. Even the plain silver helmets would be OK with me.

I've been told that the style will be somewhat like Oklahoma's uniforms.
