Nope. I can't even get the Live Stats to work either. Cordell said that Matt Bayes was scheduled to start today (Freshman, lefty from Indiana). Ugh.

Got it now

I have my live stats going now, but no luck with the radio feed.:eek7:

Bayes has a rough start. Two doubles, a walk, a wild pitch, stolen base, a home run, a triple, and AP leads 5-0 after one Don't believe it could have been any more rough? We will get the runs back but the freshman needs to settle down if he goes back out in the 2nd?

Weather too warm

Maybe its the weather in Peay. Game info says its 60 degrees there. Would count them out but Peay is definitely better than their record.

...and maybe we're NOT as good as our record (look @ our competition)? Could of just been an off day. Regroup for UK.

Weather was beautiful near Louisville today...60 degrees compared w/ what we've seen this Winter.

12-4

looked at the score, 12-4 was your final, seems they got in a hole early and never recovered. No biggie, ISU isn't going to win every game. Hopefully they'll have a good showing at Kentucky, who is receiving votes, I think, in the polls.

Still, 9-2 is a good start for ISU.

I wouldn't let the loss bother me.....

Austin Peay usually puts a very representative team on the field. They are usually one of the better teams in the Ohio Valley Conference, at least they used to be. It's a mid-week game and ISU was coming off a big win over an in-state rival. When I worked there, even when we had really good teams under Coach Warn, ISU would struggle at times against the likes of Austin Peay or Middle Tennessee State.

It was also our first road game the day after a home game. We have had other road games but we got into town a day before and didn't have to travel once we got there. I believe the team left at the butt crack of dawn today to play this game and coming off a big win yesterday, we didn't come out to play. Austin Peay is usually pretty decent as well.
