Jay Tunnell scored 19 points to pace Indiana State to a 74-56 victory over Northern Iowa and a 3-0 start in the Missouri Valley Conference. Indiana State (8-5, 3-0) outscored the Panthers (10-4, 2-1) 14-2 to start the game and built its lead to as many as 24 points in the first period when a Tunnell 3-pointer made it 41-17 with 2:26 left before halftime.
