Anyone hearing who else might leave the program and why?

I heard from a reliable source that there is a strong player leaving a major university and she has serious interest in ISU. If this is the case, look out in two years. If it is the person I was told, I can just about guarantee MVC championships for at least two years.

Not sure which player you are talking about that is leaving a major university. I do know that one player, no matter how good, will not guarantee us a MVC championship. Basketball is a team sport. No one person will make that big a difference.:talktohand:

I understand where you are coming from and agree. This young lady had a fantastic high school career from what I am seeing in googling her name and she looks to be a serious difference maker. With the strong freshman class that Coach W. is bringing in, this team will be a team to be reckoned with in a couple years.

And truthfully I am really getting cart before the horse. As an alumni I would really like her to play here, but I am not sure that she is wanted, etc....

SSOATS,

I disagree........... In women's basketball, I do not believe you need much more than one or two players. If the girl is a "big" girl or post player, we could dominate with mediocre guard play. Just my opinion. Don't get me wrong, it certainly helps to have 4 or 5 good players on the floor at all times.
