Hope he does well in both the Pacers Summer League and the Kings. I'll be trying to watch it all this summer giving updates when I can.

Unfortunately the Pacers signed a free agent point guard yesterday, complete with a 4yr/18mil contract and are looking at more experience at the position as well so sadly, Jake may end up being the victim of the numbers. It will make the Orlando summer camp fun to watch. Do us proud JO.

FA shooting guard right? I don't think CJ Miles was their point guard? I also do believe that I heard the Pacers are going after a PG with Pheonix. Guess we'll see. There are multiple teams looking for help at the PG position and if he has performances like he did at Portsmouth, I'll be mightily impressed. Good luck buddy. We're rooting for you.

Goran Dragic I believe.

Think Miles can and has played PG, SG and SF. Of course if he's like most bench player free agent signings by the Pacers he'll come to Indy and stink.

Odum at halftime currently 2-4 FG 2-3 3 point 2-2 at free throw line. Pacers NOT passing the ball and penetrating. Talking very good about Jake and Donald Sloan not playing very well. I like what Odum is doing right now. I'd like to see him run the offense more and assist more. Pacers struggling to get in the paint right now.

Jake had a pretty good game. Wish they let him run the point more. He had some great passes but man his teammates could not score. He was 2nd on the team. Donald Sloan who is the 3rd string PG for the pacers could not hit an outside shot to save his life. He could drive to the rim but could not spread the floor. Jake split his playing time from the PG to the SG position on the team but played well. Multiple times the announcer said they needed to get Jake the ball as he could score it. Was great to hear them talk great about Jake. He didn't make any mistakes that I saw. There's hope. Next game is monday.

I taped the game and watched a little of it later, thought Jake looked pretty good. Didn't try to do anything flashy with the ball and didn't take a lot of risks, just played steady and smart. Had a nice steal that led to two points and swished two straight three pointers. Would have had a few assists but teammates couldn't finish. Overall, nothing that stood out, but nothing that disappointed either. I expect to see him become a little more assertive as he gets more minutes under his belt and gets to know his teammates better.

I agree! It was weird to see him play off the ball but he did a great job. I wanted to see him finish at the rim a time or two with an and 1 like he has so many times but he didn't. Hopefully he gets more minutes next game. If anything, he was definitely better than the starting SG today.
