So, we're getting close to the midway point of the MLB season. Any surprises or disappointments this year?

Idk. Just trying to boost up some conversation on here. Let's talk baseball!!

Glad to see my White Sox rebuild is starting to click in.
They’re still a couple of years away from being legitimate ALC contenders.
And, who would have thought the Twins would be this good?

Glad you brought up a baseball conversation. Since moving down to Indy, I’ve been so disappointed in the Indy Star’s MLB coverage.
Sometimes it seems like the IU student newspaper sports section.

Should be an interesting summer with lots of teams getting injured players back in their lineups.

And of course our Sycamores made us all proud this year!

Because of vision issues I no longer make it to Wrigley or Great American, but I s ll get to at least one game at Bob Warn. MLB on TV is not an option either. If you are near Indy MLB on radio is not available either.

My son set me up with an app for my iPhone called "At Bat". It gives me access to all MLB games with radio coverage by either team for $2.99 a month. I really enjoy it and find several games a week that I enjoy.

I mentioned this because I thought other might enjoy "At Bat".

White Sox are pretty intriguing. I really like Eloy Jimenez and Yoan Moncada. Giolito is much improved from last year too. White Sox are gonna be really good in a few years.

I also use MLB at bat app. It's very handy. I'm probably going to a Cards/Reds game in mid July. MLB has been pretty wild so far. Twins are much improved. AL East is stacked with 3 really good teams. NL Central has been pretty mediocre this year compared to how people thought it would go down. Still only June though.

Cards-Angels game was great today.

It sure was weird witnessing my childhood hero smash a home run against my team and cheering...but it really was special.

Cardinals got swept by Oakland. Not looking forward to this West Coast trip. Cardinals are pretty bad on the road this year.

Those Yankees were WINNERS! Bouton's book came out during my freshman yr. @ ISU, when JIM RENDEL was HC of ISU and the games were played @ the TH Babe Ruth Park ("Valle Field'). College baseball has come along way since.
