The Sycamores added Dayton to the 2024 football schedule to complete the non-conference part. We will pay them $70,000.

Looks like we might be paying Houston Christian, a D1 school from the Southland Conference, to come up here next year (2024) too. I don't see a return game on any of the other schedules in years ahead (sort of like North Alabama). 2024 is a leap year, so we'll have 12 games that season instead of the usual 11. I'm just glad we're keeping D2 schools off the schedule now. Those games screwed us out of the playoffs twice (in 2012 and 2018) since they don't technically count.
