First, I hope your friend is doing well and everything checks out ok.

Second, the 2nd half was interesting. On one hand we got a lot of help with some timely SIU penalties. On the other, we wouldn't have needed them if our red zone offense was better. We blocked a punt and recovered at the four, and couldn't score. We missed a wide open Owens in the end zone and then missed a field goal. Too often had nice drives and then stalled out in red zone. Really could have won by twenty if we had converted inside the 15. Defense played well. Really got helped by an SIU roughing the passer late in the game to keep the ball and not have to punt.

Never complain too much about a win, but we will have to execute better in red zone to win against Bizon, and Adam will have to be more accurate. He missed a couple of very open receivers, he does not throw the greatest deep ball.

I think we need to find a passing QB and use Adam as a running back.

if Adam could become more accurate with his passes (even the SIU writers noted the fact he missed several wide open receivers and had several passes dropped that should have been caught) and if our wide receivers start hanging on to the catchable passes then we're gonna be in good shape.
"And, these instances don’t account for Adam missing wide open receivers, or Sycamores dropping catchable balls in the end zone.

If Indiana State had capitalized on half the chances SIU handed it, the Sycamores would have won by 25 points."

with ndsu coming to town we're going to need Adam to continue running the ball well, that's what both UNI and USD have done the past 2 weeks in Fargo, and it nearly worked both times. Even the reporters for ndsu say if we were smart we'd have our QB run as much as possible this week

"Based on what UNI's Aaron Bailey did in the second half and what USD's Ryan Saeger did on Saturday, if I were Indiana State next week, I would run my quarterback until NDSU proves it can stop him. As for why the Bison can't seemingly run the ball anymore ... that's a good question."

so let's hope both Adam's accuracy improves this next weekend and our receivers hang on to the ball when thrown their way and we may sneak out a win?
