First and foremost, someone needs to help our young bigs start to play like D1 athletes. The best way to give our guards consistent room to shoot and the ability to get to the basket is to have SOME kind of interior game. Right now, we don't have that. Until that changes, I expect a very streaky offense.

I'll admit I don't watch enough games. I come here to get all my updates and go to other places to read about ISU. I would like other players getting PT and see who has a rhythm together and sit Odum out for awhile till his foot problem is under control. I don't know what the deal is with the two new freshman that are All star Americans, but why are they not seeing playing time. Also didn't we get a guy from Gonzanga? What the status on him?
I am not a fan of one person being the end all be all for the team. I feel like if Odum is off the whole team is off. I could be wrong though. Just when Odum got his break when Kelly was out. I think other players need that chance and I don't see it.

The All-MVC Level
Kitchell needs more playing time, he is better overall in all aspects of the game. He will make mistakes but he has to go through that experience, he has the basketball IQ to learn from them. Odum needs to shoot more and become more of an offensive threat. Odum can get to the basket at will and he has a beautiful pull up a few feet in front of the rim. I would not have redshirted Brown. Eitel needs more playing time at shooting guard and/or point guard. Defensively everyone needs to get better so Walker does not get in foul trouble.
