Did Goose do his time in Ky.? I know he played for the ABA Ky. Colonels. Seems like I remember lineups in the fairgrounds coliseum going something like Joe Blow from Penn State and Jim "Goose" Ligon from state pen. lol
Have no idea where he did his time or for what offense.
Goose spent 7 yrs in the ABA, avging ~13 PPG; mainly with the Colonels; KY traded him to the Pittsburgh Condors, he finished his career with the Virginia Squires.
He was an ABA All-Star in 1968-69; was on Kentucky's ABA Runner-up team in 1970-71.
