With the 12 team format, only 4 teams will get a bye. I can’t see the conference moving the game off of CBS Sunday. This will make Thursday a lot more interesting. It will also require fans to take additional time off work.

A full day Thursday could be a lot of fun. I don't want to play in it, but I'd love to watch it. I don't think I'm scheduled to teach on Thursdays next semester either.
Thursday is definitely going to be a big day in a 12-team tournament. The majority of the teams will play instead of it being a glorified play-in game like it has been in the past.
Also, top-6 is no longer relevant. To get a bye, you have to finish in the top-4.

I think it will be interesting to see if someone can win Arch Madness coming out of Thursday with the expanded tournament. Where before 7-10 was bottom of the barrel, now 9-12 will be the lowest of the low.
