One of the officemates sprang for a copy of Lindy's Football Annual:

Preseason FCS
#5 - Southern Illinois
#13 - South Dakota State
# 21 - Missouri State

#11 - Eastern Illinois

In a not so suprising announcement; the Trees are picked last in the MVFC BUT at least they gave us 'props' for "being serious about football again, though we're 2-55 since 2005..."

the UCinn kittens are picked #22 nationally for FBS schools; the Trine (sorry, it'll always be Tri-State to me) Thunder are #5 on the Div III poll.

St. Frank's of Fort Wayne wasn't listed --- The Sporting News is the only BIG football annual that gives any love to non-FBS schools

I didn't expect Missouri State to be ranked. They were 6-5 last year. They're only a few years removed from losing to us and we've played them well in the recent past.
