Tim Floyd will be named basketball coach at Arizona, Mark Asher of Sports 620 KTAR, ESPN's radio affiliate in Phoenix, is reporting according to multiple sources.

Floyd met with Arizona athletic director Jim Livengood on Wednesday night to work out the final details of the deal and an announcement is expected Thursday, according to sources.

Floyd, 55, has spent the last four seasons at USC with an 85-50 record. He led the Trojans to three NCAA tournament appearances -- including the Sweet 16 in 2007.

I further heard on ESPN this morning that Capel from Pittsburgh may then go to USC, and Miller from Xavier to Pittsburgh...the dominoes will now start falling

Missouri has signed head coach Mike Anderson to a new seven-year contract, athletic director Mike Alden told ESPN.com Tuesday night.

"We are excited Coach Anderson is going to be at the University of Missouri for a long time," Alden said in a statement. "He's done a tremendous job rebuilding our basketball tradition and is poised to lead our program to new heights in the coming years."

U of Nevada's Mark Fox is headed to Georgia.....I don't expect any Valley coaches headed their....but I guess you never know.

Wonder where Billy Gilispie ends up from here? Remember the guy had alot of success at Texas A&M and for the talent he ha on this years UK team did pretty well by most programs standards. Wonder if he becomes a player in the Arizona job search?

Steve Lavin is another guy I'd be going after for a coach but he has it made at ESPN right now working with Erin Andrew's each night...lol

If I were Lavin, I'd sit tight at ESPN -- he has the best job in the world!
Erin Andrews is the frosting on the cupcake!
Mmm 'frosting!'
