Baseball: Game 3 @ Canisius: Sycamores win 8-4

Nice win today, would have been nice to win the series, but it was a long trip I'm sure and Canisius seems to have a good team for a northern team.

Need to parlay this win into a long winning streak, over woeful Purdue Tuesday, Butler Wednesday and through next weekend's big series with league leading Dallas Baptist.

RPI is still at 24 over on warrennolan.com, so no real damage with the series loss. Canisius is at 130.

Thank goodness, needed that win, for the team's morale if nothing else. And Keafebar (sp?) pitched 6+ innings of no hit ball.

This guy has it going on.

Keaffaber, as a freshman, is the best young arm we've seen in many years. He can start, long-relief or even set-up and close. Highly flexible. Pray that he avoids injuries...like we saw with Tyler Browning after a great freshman season in 2010. Browning never got back to any sort of form. And, heis starting out even better than Sean Manaea! Ryan Keaffaber will be a hot commodity if he continues to ramp up his ability.

Does anyone know how hard he throws?
