Baseball wins game 3 @ Evansville (3/25)

ISU won 6-0 today, winning the series, first series win at UE since 1998 I think I read.

SIU lost to Bradley, so they're 2-1 in MVC play

MSU is beating a hapless Creighton team 5-3 late in that one, MSU will be 3-0 with the win, CU 0-3.

Creighton normally isn't this bad.

If we can win all conference series and pick up a few sweeps, the Sycamores will do very well in the Valley this year. To be a contender in the Valley this year, I believe you can't afford to lose a series--it's going to be that tight.

Huge salute to Reggie Hochstedler and Chris Machado for their bullpen work...allowing just three hits in three innings. PLUS, Hochstedler came in for Kyle Rupe with the bases loaded and no outs and didn't allow a run. That is nails relief pitching!
