Since I was unable to log in for the past two weeks or so, I want to take this time to congratulate Bob Warn for being honored. I had the pleasure of working closely with Bob in my role as the baseball sports information director during the latter part of my time at Indiana State. We spent a lot of time together over the years and I know how much getting a new stadium for baseball meant to him.
I can still remember walking into Bob's office there in the arena and seeing the stadium model sitting on the coffee table in front of his desk. He allowed our sports information office to have some imput in the designing of the press box.
He would always tell incoming recruits and their families that this was going to happen. And now it has. Or at least a form of it. I don't know if the new baseball stadium is going to look anything like the model that Bob had so proudly displayed there in his office, but if it's anything close, then I think that Indiana State fans will be pleased.
