I think it's time that we start being proactive about letting the Indy media know that we number in the thousands and we want to see coverage of our Sycamores! They're arguably the second best football team in the state right now, and they're being totally ignored in Indianapolis. I have compiled a list of contact information for Indy area media folks that you can use to RESPECTFULLY request coverage of Indiana State athletics. See if you can make these folks your "pen pals." Remind them of upcoming games, give them story ideas, just generally let them know that we want, and deserve some coverage. But be NICE about it. If you're nasty, they'll just tune you out.

And remember, don't let up. A note every week or two would let them know we're not going away. Don't go to the well too often, though, as you'll get ignored (see me and Jim Lefko).
