Maybe, maybe not. It's not real clear, but I'm assuming that the charges referenced in the article are all charges from the State of Massachusetts. So if that's the case, those will all be plead down to lesser charges, and if found guilty of those, he will be placed on probation and probably fined.

His troubles with TSA won't be much worse. It doesn't sound like he's a repeat TSA offender, so he will just receive a fine from TSA. Like maybe $4,000 and if he decides not to fight the Feds, he can pay early ($2,000) and his troubles will be over there.

His other problems will be, he will never obtain a Global Entry card, and along with that, forever lose any TSA Precheck perks.

Just a reminder, he has his own money to hire good attorneys, and it doesn't hurt that his big boss is a BILLIONAIRE. And not that two wrongs make a right, SEVENTEEN Americans per day like Jack Jones, make the same honest mistake and forget that their firearms are in a bag, that's always with them. Which turns out to be their carry-on bag for flying. I'm not condoning breaking anyone's state and our Federal laws, but it is the United States...people make mistakes, and the prosecutors, courts and judges lean towards forgiveness, and second chances.
